Human Resources Manager – $100K to $110K
Our client a global provider of financial investment and management services acting on behalf of institutional, corporate and retail clients and counterparties around the world is seeking to hire a HR Manager for their Houston, Texas location.
HR Manager will maintain a regional presence and support firm’s various business groups, manage the HR functions such on-boarding and orientation, integration, talent management and acquisition; promotes firm’s culture, provides HR policy guidance and interpretation; conduct exit interviews, employee relations, training and development, and performance management and reviews; leads annual undergrad on-campus and internship recruitment, recruits full-time positions within the business unit; maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; on-site assistance with immigration and visa sponsorship matters (job postings; newspaper advertisements; resume collection, etc); undertake HR ad-hoc projects. Required Experience: Bachelors degree in business, human resources management or a related field; At least five years of human resources generalist experience necessary to demonstrate a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including recruitment, compensation practices, organizational management, employee relations, performance management and federal and state-respective employment laws; Relevant industry experience preferred PHR or SPHR preferred.
